With this little unit between the camera and the ballhead leveling the
camera is relatively easy and whether the top of the tripod where the
ballhead mounts/rotates is level or not doesn't really matter at all. To
be truly accurate a custom plate could mounted between the camera and
the Panoramaplatte to position the axis of the camera over the point of
rotation.
