After I returned home I installed the stand-alone version and had it do a
thorough check. It did not find any Win10 items, but it did find that there
were 942 items in the update cache. I had it delete those and then block any
further Win10 items.
Well advised. I downloaded both the installer and the stand-alone
files and saved them. I'll install that later on when I feel an
unresistable urge to use Win7, which won't be anytime soon.
Caution is required. They're getting very aggressive on Win 10. You
might want to install this tool to help you avoid it.
