I don't know about silvering the mirror...you might try checking with the
Rollei list...there must be one. Any 2 1/4 camera will do...using a waist
level finder takes a little bit of getting used to, but you must remember to
bracket your slides. There is no "perfect" exposure...it is a bit
subjective. If you then scan your slides, the number of options increases.
Projecting large slides produces images that are so vivid (at least to me)
that they look like you could walk right into them. 35mm isn't that vivid. I
use a Rollei 2 1//4 projector and try to project an images that is at least
6ft x 6ft  or larger on the wall. A good screen helps, I am currently using
white seemless paper from my studio. At least try it to see the beauty of
those slides.
