I might be a little late on this, but I'm in a similar situation.

I'm going to be attending the wedding of one of my best friends in about a
month. Since I'm a poor college student (I blow all my money on camera junk,
textbooks, and beer;) my 'gift' to them will be a small album of pictures
that I take throughout the weekend.

I'm not going to be THE photographer for the ceremony (thank god for
that...) , but I figure some fast glass and some good ole' Tri-X should let
me document some of the events. I'm hoping for maybe 6-8 good images,
printed no larger than 5x7 -- maybe 8x10 in a leather bound album/portfolio.
Hell I might even feed them into that new iPhoto thingy and get a book
printed up.

I am sorry to say that I _may_ abandon my trusty OM's for one of my dad's
Leicas + 35/1.4 and maybe a 90mm. If I could afford a 35/2 for my OM's,
then I'd take one of them.

Hopefully I'll come out of the weekend with a unique gift for them and some
pictures for myself. I'd recommend you suggest this to your friend.

Mike
