John,

Try disabling, turning off or even uninstalling ZoneAlarm! We have given 
up on ZoneAlarm at work because it was just to much trouble to get it to 
work with our network. We had similar printer problems, and worse yet at 
one point it was keeping us from processing credit cards! If you want to 
keep ZoneAlarm on the computer there are settings to make it work, but I 
got tired of having to fight with the stuff.
