Sorry, you didn't catch the point. The bottle neck is the scanner, it 
provide poor resolution for the film, how can we compare?

For the 100-400 test, the lens could be the bottle neck, say for example it 
only provide 10lp/mm how can it use for test resolution of two recording 
media that has much better resolution than the lens (ok, it is just an 
assumption but they should use the 50/1.4 stop down to make the test like 
dpreview.)
