A large mirror will give brighter picture? Don't know if it is true or not
but my Bronica SQ-A had very dim view with prism finder (compared with my
OM2n) and also heard the Hass was not much better without using Acute Matte
screen. The Pentax 6x7 I have seen was not bright either.

I don't think bulk is the issue. I think it is brightness. Remember this is
a 4/3 system camera with 2X focal length multiplier. That little mirror
image is going to be pretty dim by the time you magnify it to the same size
as the one in the OM finder.
