I believe some are, but you wouldn't - the cannibalising would go the other
way! The last mint condition Black Nikon SP I saw sold went for around
US$25,000, I think.
Oh, on the subject of interchangeability - just got my hands on a Bessa-L
and discovered that it has a double shutter - there is a shutter in front
of the main shutter in a nice shade of grey (somewhere between 11-18% I
suppose). The metering is done off this first vertical metal shutter and it
fires at the same time as the main shutter except with self timer, when it
opens immediately. I presume this is a refinement for the rangefinder only
as the standard shutter isn't lightproof enough without a mirror in the
way. Certainly makes it the loudest RF body I've ever heard!
