The QA310 was designed for the OM-2 (using Shoe 2), however the T32 can be 
used with the OM-2 (using Shoe 3), but you won't get the falsh ready light in 
the 
viewfinder as you would with an OM-2N (+Shoe 4).

Perhaps the original poster who had the problem was using the T32 with a Shoe 
2 and getting a full flash dump.
