(SIGH!!!) It seems a casual comment on my part has started an off-topic
discussion about "good" and "bad" medical practices both in Canada and the
United States. I humbly apologize, particularly to digest readers, that my
comment has/is/will increase the amount of non-Olympus/Zuiko traffic on the
list. On that basis, I regret having made the statement in the first
place. I also regret my reply to George, as it obviously didn't have the
effect I had hoped for... clarifying my statement and, therefore, ending
the discussion.

With that out of the way...

THAT was the intent of my original comment... it appears that both mom and
babe are doing great! I hope that continues, Barry!

Glad to hear that, Barry. That's one REALLY nice 35RC you've got there!
So much so, that I'm now on the hunt for one to use as my "pocket" camera
that I can drag with me during the work week. I'd love to see some scans
of shots taken with the 35RC (of mom/baby, or anything else you'd care to
share).

Edmonton offers alot of impromptu photo opportunities, and it's impossible
to drag the "regular" kit around while at work. I had bought a 35SP
thinking it would be a good "pocket" camera but, alas, it's as big as my
OM-2 so it isn't suitable. So, I've sold it and gotten my money back on
it, and the "hunt" is on for a 35RC in good shape.

Anyway, Barry, it was GREAT to meet you (and Garth!) in person! It was a
*fantastic* lunch we enjoyed together, particularly since Garth picked-up
the tab! :-) I'm VERY happy for you, your daughter and *both* families
that all is working out well with the new baby, and I hope VERY much that
everything *continues* on that course!

Regards,

Chris
