Recently I tried a role of Fujichrome Provia 100F . . . (snip)
Kodachromes loose a lot of there brilliance when scanned, while the
Provia looses its ugly green tint. I uploaded some examples on the "The
Netherlands" page of my site:

The bottom pictures are the Provias. I am very interested in your
opinion!

Erwin,
I, too, have found that Fuji slide film over-emphasized green and, for
that reason, would use only Kodak slide film (Konica film seemed to
emphasize battleship grey and Agfa was too grainy for my taste).

I like your pictures taken in the Netherlands, especially the
composition. Also it's nice to see the good results you obtained with
the 35-70mm/f4 zoom, since I also own one of those. IMHO, the Provia
shots seem clearer and having better colour balance than the others.
However, I note also that the Provia shots were the only ones taken
with the 35mm/f2 lens, of which I have no experience. Therefore, I
don't really know how much of the differences between your pics can be
attributed to the film and how much to the lens used. Other factors
come into this comparison, of course, like the characteristics of my
PC's LCD monitor; maybe the pics would look different on a conventional
CRT monitor?

Regards,

Ray
