A complaint some have with the 2S is battery drain,. especially with flash. .
All 2Ss have some drain but if its an older body (they're all old ;-)) it'll
have
a green flash-ready LED which means the LED is powered by the camera batteries
(So
if you're walking around at a party for 2 hours with your flash turned on, your
camera batteries are draining for 2 hours).
After conversion, you have a RED LED, powered by the FLASH batteries. While
this
lowers overall drain, your base level drain of the camera (after the display
turns
off) is still there.
I recommend a 2N as the most reliable, best built body of all.

BTW< I am now offering OM-1 & 1N internal conversions for using the 1.5V silver
oxide battery. This includes meter circuit conversion, and an adapter ring
cemented into the battery box and re-calibration, if any. I'll be doing this
for
$5 over the overhaul price.
I will still acept orders for MR9s if people want them, but it is so annoying
trying to get them, I think this conversion is a better deal.
