Those "blobs" look like contamination to me; air bells tend to be more
circular and clearer. I doubt the scan is so low in resolution as to make
bells fuzzy and irregular like that. I have seen this once before from the
gunk in a less than clean developer bottle. Its what taught me to be
meticulously tidy in the darkroom.
