I not fully agree with you because if you process Panasonic images with
SilkyPIX because panasonic hasn´t got any own RAW Software you get a
complety different color rendition. On the other hand if you load an Olympus
RAW image in Olympus Viewer 2, you get consistent results according to JPGs
outputted form the camera. I know what you mean Chuck, please don´t
misunderstand me but I bought E-P1 because I am fed up of processing RAW
images. I just want to enjoy taking photographs as I used to do it with my
OM4Ti. The other day I took this picture with my E-P1 and JPG was superb. I
didn´t process anything. I even scaled the image in the camera :) This is
the main target of Olympus right now.

IS worked flawlessly at 1/3s ISO 200, gradation was excellent, I only
overexposed 1/3 stop becasue of the white area. The only problem was that
TruePIC engine oversaturated red color out from srgb space! I can solve this
issue under PS but Olympus should be aware of this issues. They have made
great improvements since E-1 regarding to image processing pipeline but
there are still many issues to be solved. Another problem are MFT lenses.
They are bull shit! I have bought also a Panasonic micro-fourthirds adapter
for attaching my fourthirds lenses because Olympus is manufacturing only toy
lenses for MFT. This is why I am sooooooo upset and angry with them.

I also took recently these pictures with my E-1 but I had to process all of
them, changing tone curve, contrast, color, etc... A pain in the neck losing
too much time.
