Price wise, it sounds pretty outrageous to me. You get 4 CD's of
unspecified type, 1 gold CD and one gold DVD for AUD 29.95 which Yahoo
tells me is worth USD 27.52 today. But I can buy MAM-A archival gold
CD's for about USD 1.45 each (in quantities of 100) or MAM-A archival
gold DVD's for about USD 2.30 each (in quantities of 50). I'm sure
Kodak and Taiyo Yuden gold CD's and DVD's can be had for similar
quantity prices.

But, if quantity 50 or 100 is too much to spend in one go, Kodak Gold
archival DVD's can be had in quantity 1 at the local Circuit City store
for USD 4.95 which belies your sources claim that high quality discs
can't be bought at the local stores. At least in the US they can.

I had a hard time making sense of this statement: "You can invest in
disc printing software and find top quality CD’s and DVD’s for $5 each
or more – or for a lower price you can buy myLife albums and have them
all organised on a shelf in an evening." The $29.95 package includes 5
CD's and one DVD. That's an average price of $5 per disc even though
most are CD's. Say what?

But forget the CD's and DVD's unless you've only got a small collection
of images. For a large set of images such as we folks produce another
couple hard drives is an even better bet for price and convenience.
