I am guessing this would need a specialist lens repairer such as focal
point to separate and reglue, rather than the likes of John or Clint
(but I am willing to be corrected on this matter) . Has anyone had this
done and can give me a guestimate as to cost.

Does anyone know how the second from rear element group comes out, in
the parts diagram it look to me that it should come out like the rear
element group, but probably needs lens dismantling to push it out from
the other side.

I have been trying UV treatment but the sun hasn't been shining strongly
too much lately, however I will try it with the rear lens group removed
and allowing sun to shine directly on it and the next element in.

John I think suggested using ponds hand cream, however I didn't want to
put that on the element group still in the lens as I wasn't sure I could
clean it all out again, but I did dab some mild vinegar solution on it
and then some of my wifes (acetone) nail remover, but I am not sure if
its dead. The cream solution is no good on removed rear element as the
fungus appears to be in the cement as you say.

I did however manage to remove most of the cloudy look it had.
