I've been waiting for this moment, wondering when you were
finally going to admit your weakness.
As a fellow Ax user, I've got to second your various praises of
the camera. Minolta (don't even think the Konica engineers
could figure out this bit of engineering) got it right with the
A1/A2/A200. I love mine and grab it as often as the E-1 and
haven't regretted the purchase for a second.
If the Maxxum D7D would have been a bit more reliable up front,
I'd have purchased that instead of the E-1. Folks,
K0NICA-M1NOLTA has the user-interface figured out. As much as I
like the E-1, my A1 runs circles around it with the best
user-preset functionality I've ever seen as well as an
outstanding menu system that all others pale in comparison.
