We recently had this problem with a 1n. It was topic 018 -- corroded wire
from the battery. Fixed for very little expense by a local tech. He did point
out that sometimes the corrosion goes a long way back along the wire,
necessitating its replacement all the way back to the circuit in the top
of the camera -- which can be tricky.
