I'm fascinated by booby-traps and the things that could be done to
intruders. My problem is that I'm so damn absent-minded I would surely catch

Install a sound system ............. something that will produce a muted
sound but of such intensity as to cause immense pain and the shattering of
the ear drums. I knew a fellow once years ago who had such a system in his
office, who posted notices of his system and never once experienced a break
in.
