OM-4T does most of everything I want to do. Very intuitive to use,
multi-spot metering. It's hard to do fill flash with the OM-4T,
compared to the OM-3T, but if you tape over the flash indicator
contact, you can trigger the flash in auto mode, while getting longer
speeds. The OM-4T will integrate the flash light into the overall
exposure when you do. I like the flash cables for off camera flash as
well. I like the diopter adjustment, which allows me to get better
focus than I could on an OM-2n or OM-1n. If fact, it is the diopter
adjustment that caused me to get rid of all my OM-2n's and 1's. With
the multi-spot capability, I rarely use manual mode or the exposure
compensation dial. I can incrementally adjust the exposure by spotting
on brighter or darker areas of the scene. Much quicker than adjusting a
knob, which I later forget to reset.

The OM-2n has two separate meter systems, which may or may not track
each other well. With the OM-4t, using Memo, you can capture what the
actual exposure was (great feature when you tape over flash indicator
contact per above fill flash mode). The ability to set flash speeds
lower than 1/60, a 2 second timer pre-fire, and rear curtain sync would
complete the OM-4t for me. It would also be cool if the display of the
shutter speed would reverse direction for exposure times greater than 1
second. (that is, come down from the top to 2 seconds, 4 seconds, ...).

The OM-2n *is* smooth though. But I probably can't live with out the
titanium bottom plate though. :-)
