Thanks for the info, Clint. The Tamron mount is indeed missing the screw you
mention (thankfully). Worst case, I get a new adaptall 2 mount. Hopefully
I'll be able to obtain a new screw somewhere. I'll start with the Tamron
dealer I bought it from. Though I wouldn't ask him to repair even a toaster-
he has disassembled cameras all over the counters in his store. Hopefully
they are parts hulks, but one never knows. I have a noname 3x converter that
is very seldom used. It may provide a loaner for the time being. All of my
other lenses have the screw in various colors and head sizes.

Ya know, this list is worth infinitely more than the price of admission.
Hmmm, that's not saying much.. How about this list is invaluable? Yeah,
that's it. Thanks so much!
