Be aware that lenses are manufactured in discrete "steps", you'll
have closest match, so unless there are premium or bespoke lenses
available for a close match, you may end up with slightly different
vision - I am approximately 20/20 in one eye and 20/25 in the other.
The Zeiss ASPHINA aspheric lens I had implanted in my right eye last
year was offered in 0.5 dioptre steps. The measurements of the eye
before surgery were "plugged into" four different mathematical models
to work out the correct strength needed. The results varied but were
clustered around 19.5D. Asking for any finer tolerance would have
meant trusting one formula over another and, as I understand it, all
four make certain assumptions, such as the front of the cornea being
perfectly spherical.
