Hi Moose,
I don't see much change in the first two boxes, but the final one does
wonders. Good luck with some subjects.
I have a friend who is shooting a 600 on a Sony and getting great bird
images, so that seems to be a nice FL to have.

My Lockdown GAS continues. Justified, as usual, as preparation for the

Intrigued by the possibilities of Oly's Pro Capture Mode,I was
frustrated trying to use is with my Panny lens - High speed, fixed
focus mode. Photographer, subject and subject perch movement make it
useless for my purposes.
So, I ordered the new Oly 100-400. Apparently, it's more popular than
anticipated, as it took about six weeks and was still on back order
when I got mine.
It works, but how well is hard to tell, with such limited, and at the
moment, uninspiring, subjects in the yard. I have photos of our yard
birds. What I want is flutterbys here, which are not around this time
of year. I've also been interested in the idea of a teleconverter.
Recently, a demo model MC-14 for $100 off appeared.
I've taken all of four shots with the combo, between rain showers. For
a tele guy like me, the reach is fabulous; 1100 mm eq.!
The question, as always, is how good is the image? And therein may lie
a tale.

Right out of the camera, it's pretty good, in that, "Good for a ____
lens." way, but it cleans up quite nicely. Good 3D look.
Those drops of rain on blades of fine grass are ~23' away BTW.
