Most regions have their own icons of idiocy. Consider the plight of David
Grundman, a convicted felon. On 15 February 1982, he and James Suchochi took a
few weapons out in the desert northwest of Phoenix for the purpose of shooting
at saguaros. Grundman fired a number of rounds into his last victim, which
then fell over on him, killing him by way of terminal acupuncture. Proof
positive that God has a sense of humour. His death is celebrated every year in
the Earth First! calender, as well as an entire detailed chapter in the book
"Revenge of the Saguaro" by Tom Miller.
