What browser are you using? The browser is the weak point in the link.
From your description it sounds like you might already be infected with
something. There's some serious malware out there that you can invite
to step right into your machine and take over by simply failing to
uncheck an option on some downloads from previously trusted sites.
Nasty stuff.
