I still wouldn't, as previously stated, and supported by Nathan I think.

Unless you bought one RIGHT now - experiment, assess, probably sell  
back,
then buy another one, experiment again, sell again,
etc.

If that trip is important to you, just use gear you are FAMILIAR  
with ....
And /  Or give you time to be so.
