I'm also going to play "Moose" for a moment. In a reduced image, say
800 pixels wide, you aren't going to see the difference in sensor
resolution. You'll see the difference in how the resizing and
sharpening algorithms address the resize, but you aren't going to see
any difference in resolution otherwise. I believe I can prove this...
