Hi Bill -

Well, we can just agree to disagree. ;-)

Frankly I think the RZ betters basically every hasselblad I have tried
(Admittedly, not all of them), and is a lot less finicky in terms of
needed maintenance, etc. Granted, yes, it is bigger but it's basically a
7x7 camera instead of 6x6. The real strength is the depth of the system
itself. Lenses from 37mm to 500mm, different backs, finders, accessories,
etc. Most of which are cheap as dirt these days (compared to when new),
plentiful, and reliable. Not too bad to work on either. I have serviced
several RZ lenses, and even though they have internal leaf shutters, they
are no worse to work on than OM lenses for example. (simpler in some
cases).

The Hasselblad system does have some great lenses I am jealous of, notably
250 SA, 110/2, and maybe a couple others. It also has nice style overall.

I handhold the RZ all the time, even with the 500 Apo on it. It's a bit
chunky but not bad, once you put the L-grip on. The RB is a beast, agreed
- it's definitely heavier/bigger than the RZ. Handholding the RZ is
really not bad, even without the grip, it depends on the lens; but overall
I don't think I have ever had the RZ on a tripod yet. And have shot at
least 1000 rolls with it.

Can't go wrong with either system, really!
