The reason I bought it was the low price, the fact that it had Win7 
installed rather than Win8 and also had 8GB of RAM.  The old Dell was 
forever destined to be 32 bit.  No way to upgrade to 64 bit other than 
buying a new motherboard that would likely be a bad fit in a custom Dell 
case.  It will stay 32 bit and may become a dedicated Linux machine one 
of these days.
