Bob, it still may be possible that it is an artifact of the RAW
conversion. We get color shifts, halos and other oddities where two
colors come together at a hard edge. A red flower against a green
background is sure to elicit rimming of some form. Sometimes it turns
gray. Lower pixel-count cameras have this much more common. The E-1 is
especially susceptable to it. Seeing the halo at 600% leads me to
believe it's an artifact of Bayer.

I do like the shot! I'm liking the human element in it. Probably
wouldn't sell in the gallery, but would be more likely to win a
contest.
