Certainly seems possible. I've not run across that, that I've noticed, but that 
doesn't meant it wouldn't happen with 
different combinations of RAW file and converter. Especially when the converter 
is also being used as a processor.

You might want to consider another verb to use here. Unless you refer to 
cleaning the silver noses with your tongue.

If it started as such, subsequent processing certainly 'enhanced' it. ;-)
