Thanks for your responses ..

After I asked the question I spent at least half an hour using FastStone to 
look at my file of saved Zuikoholic images, and correctly predicted Andrew's 
answer.

I guess I'm just not around streets much - urban streets that is. I live on a 
wide open village street.

Yes, I do use wide angle lenses for interiors ( not much shot) and 
landscapes.

I did enjoy Manuel's album; haven't noticed your work before, Manuel.

Ag's knowledge of camera functions never ceases to amaze me.

I'm going to be on the move for the next 4 - 5 days and may not be able to 
call in. Be nice while I'm gone ... :-)   I don't have electronic devices like 
many of you, that enable connectiveness regardless of location.
