Same here--15000 files now and I would not dream of using anything
else. I do have PS but only use it for stitching panoramas.

I suspect what we have here is the contrast betweeen people that used ps 
just a bit or not at all before trying lightroom, and those who have a fair 
amount of time over a fair number of versions of PS.

And honestly, I find the filing part incomprehensible.
