Which brings up one of the mysteries of the universe.  Why do most studio
lights turn off the modeling lights during the flash exposure?  It' not
going to make hill of beans worth of difference because the lights are still
at near full brightness for almost a full quarter of a second during which
the flash fires. The flash is so much more powerful than the modeling light
that it shouldn't have any affect on the exposure.
