Echoing what I just said with regard to Martyn's email, Wiliam, there
are problems everywhere; I could probably come up with plenty of reasons
not to come to the UK, for that matter. Plenty of reasons, also, to come.
I probably won't be going to the US anytime soon, nothing to do with the
economics or even the remote possibility of being shot. I may even be
restricted to internal travel, unless pressured by the wife, when my
passport comes up for renewal. Too many people want a piece of you now,
I'm uncomfortable with air travel, removing my shoes, being shoved about
with impunity generally treated like a suspect.
Better get that safari in soon...
