Oops, brain fart. I seem to have typed in the 720 part of the format, 
instead of the correct 480 part. Sheesh, it's right there on the screen 
when I change inputs.

720 is (was?) referred to as SD and 1080 as HD, at least that's what my 
TV manual says while pointing out that it doesn't support 720, only VGA, 
NTSC, 480i/p and 1080i.
