Hi Chuck,

It is a nice series, few people but so what--an empty city has its own
kind of charm. My favorites are 6931 and 7011 (I think that is the
number of the taxi with feet sticking out).

As for lack of comments: I am not sure why I missed your original
post. I could be that it got lost amid the mail server problems this
list was experiencing at the weekend, or it could be that it was
buried in another thread which I deleted wholesale. This brings me to
one of the few things I do not like about the list, namely the
tendency some people have to just reply to an existing post within a
thread when making a new post. I am on two quite active mailing lists,
this one and the LUG, which between them generate 200 or so messages a
day. I look at all pictures, but I skip threads with subjects which
are of no interest to me and which contain no mention of pictures (I
do look at all pictures), for example, the recent thread on buying an
OM-4. Sometimes, out of curiosity, I expand such a thread before
deleting it and notice that there are two or more threads within it
with different subjects. I would suggest that when people start a new
subject, they should start a new thread.

Cheers,
Nathan
