I am not familiar with the E330 but I have the E410 and the  
improvement in high ISO performance is dramatic. With the E410 I  
would never shoot above 800, and even that is barely usable. With the  
E3, I will shoot at 1600 if need be. Basically, the E3 gives me a  
level of performance at high ISO (where I live much of the time)  
equal to my Canon 1DII in a much smaller package in terms of size and  
weight, and with superior wide angle optics available.
