If it were me I would suggest that you resolve the delete method problem 
by simply resolving never to delete images in-camera.  As I have 
mentioned here before, deleting in-camera has side effects on image 
recoverability of the undeleted images should something happen to the 
card like an accidental reformat.  Been there, done that, won't do it again.
