I can get us into portions of Castle Rock that normally aren't open to the
public, with a nice request here or there I might be able to use the
normally locked gate in an area by the river that has been left alone for
nearly 90 years. At the right time, the tiger Lilies are in bloom, Colts
foot and some other delicate flowers along with the challenge of trying to
get a good scenic shot without the glare from a tan oak.
Going to have to plan in advance, I am obligated to do public walks on the
third Saturday of each month, the following Sunday and the following Sat
(4th Sat) through next November, I can sneak out of the 2nd Saturday walk if
I know in advance, I usually just help on that one.
Or, depending on what you folks want, and if you are able to find something
photogenic at a range of over 500 yards from the car......... there are
water falls and scenic views from 2,000 feet of Monterey bay (if it can bee
seen due to summer fog)
So you folks tell me when, and what you'd like, I've got access to 3 areas
not normally open to the public and another 100+ miles of neat trails in the
other 4-5 usual places I go.

I haven't been to Big Basin for many years, I won't admit how many. I
make it to Pt. Reyes, the North coast, Yosemite, Maine, Santa Cruz, Big
Sur often enough. Time to remedy my lapse soon. I was in Henry Cowell
Redwoods this spring, close......
