I've been wondering, does everyone ship their cameras to John or Clint? I
know there are a lot of listmembers from Europe who have several of OM
bodies, shipping it out and back into EU seems expensive.
I absolutely have faith that if I sent my gear to John he'd do a terrific
job, the problem is that I dislike the idea that I have to pay taxes to
the government for it. Paying the VAT several times for one camera gets
kind of old.
Anyway, back to the point. Are there any good alternatives inside the EU?
I have two OM bodies that are perfectly usable as they are now but needing
minor repair/CLA, and I don't trust the local repairmen enough :) Would be
very grateful for any advice.
