I'll often hire an assistant on shoots that will take a bit or involve more
than one person.

Their primary job?  Lugging around the 1Ds. :)  I've got the leather hand
grip on most of my cams, but with the 1Ds, it actually makes things more
painful as the weight + grip bends your wrist in unnatural and perverted
ways.

But talk about resolution...
