It really is great fun to parade our "antique" camera gear in public. 
The more discerning members of the public express appreciation but the
young whippersnappers balance that out with a dose of derision.

Of course my favorites are the toddlers who are baffled when they
can't see pix on the LCD on the back of the camera and assume I'm
playing a trick on them.

If you really want to cause a sensation, shoot with a 4x5 or TLR.  Er,
if you're in the U.S., maybe not.  Could get arrested . . .
