Thanks for your suggestions, and Quentin's. I shall look out for all
those places. Since we shall be there for 2 weeks, I shall have plenty
of time to take photos. We shall also be able to visit la Corse since
it is only across the water from where we shall be – in Portobello.
The last time I visited Sardinia was in 1987 when I was on Tornados
with 15 Sqn at RAF Laarbruch, not far from Goch in Germany. We used to
deploy to Decimomannu near Cagliari in the south to use the bombing
range at Capo Frasca hafl way up the western coast. It was grey and
misty then as I remember. But in 1979, the last time I visited in
September, it was gorgeous. I shall be in trouble with Madame if it is
not lovely and sunny!
