That is an amazing load of information Julian. It looks as if you have done quite a bit of research ... ;-)

Aircraft normally land into wind (reduces landing speed, landing run, tyre wear etc... ) and takeoff into wind (reduces takeoff run, tyre wear). The prevailing winds are southwesterly so that would normally explain. I would have been very surprised if it had not used the easterly runways last week when we had easterlies.
