All 4T and Tis will drain batteries (even when not in use) though it should
take months to do it. I'd avoid a plain 4.  Save a little more, get a 4T or
Ti.  Converting a 4 to a T is not available.  What do you mean "victim" of a
plain 2 to 2N upgrade?
