2.8 is fast enough for me... especially now I've got a 2-13 screen fitted
:-)

Ian, I have had great results with a Tamron 90mm macro lens, f2.5 . It goes
to 1/2 life size, or 1:1 with macro adaptor, although I find it easier to
use an Olympus auto tube. The later Tamron goes to 1:1 without adaptor but
is f2.8......Only downside is that the Tamron is a fairly large lens. The
tamron f2.5 can be found 2nd hand from about £160 +
                       Regards, John Duggan, Wales, UK.

But it's Christmas soon :-) and a nice reasonably fast 80 or so with macro
as a walk about (if such exists) could be on the list for Santa.... any
suggestions?
