Which 50mm are you talking about?
I've got numerous photographs done with the 50/1.2 and three 50/1.4 MC
lenses, spanning the two different formulation ranges of S/N's that would
definitely, without doubt, show barrel or pincushion if it were present.
In addition, there are several f/1.8 formulations.
