I couldn't agree with you more. They (marketing) seem bent on trying to get
you use to the concept of "Obsolete in 3 years" like computers... Well, I
was using my 486 as a firewall until the motherboard died, 8 years! It's
incredible how much people buy into marketing..

My entire OM system is less expensive than a new N*kon or C*non body only.
That's insane. And mine produce great pictures, and is built fort knox
tough. When their wonderbricks break, I will still have my om.

Was talking to a N*kon owner the other day... he saw the size of my pack.
He couldn't believe what I could fit in there! He yelled "No way!" and
proceeded to rummage through my bag, he couldn't believe how compact the OM
system is... When i travel, I don't want a honkin' brick around my neck, I
can my camera sidesling, and under my jacket and nobody even knows it's
there...

If you want to go digital, fine. But don't throw out your OM when you do!
You will find, regret is the name of a river, filled with tears..
