Color balancing fluorescent light is much more difficult than incandescent (tungsten) because it isn't just a "roll-off" in a region of the visible spectrum. Fluorescent and most other gas discharge type lighting (mercury vapor, sodium vapor, etc.) have significant spikes of specific wavelengths.

Worse yet is mixed lighting that has lighting sources of different types. Color balancing those situations can be nightmarish, often impossible. Look at what you shot to see if there's a possiblity of mixed lighting in them (daylight coming through windows, stage with tungsten based lighting, etc.).
